Waves Telecom sets up cloud CCTV in Saudi Arabia for companies that run many branches, stores or yards. Cameras record to a secure cloud platform, and you watch every site from one browser or mobile app. No recorders to maintain in each branch, and no one has to drive to a site to pull footage.
With a traditional system, every branch has its own recorder (NVR) in a cupboard. Someone must check it is still recording, replace failed disks, update its software and visit the site whenever footage is needed. With ten or fifty branches, that becomes a full-time problem.
Cloud CCTV, also called video surveillance as a service (VSaaS), moves the recording and management to a cloud platform. A small bridge device at each site buffers video locally and sends it securely to the cloud, so a short internet cut does not leave gaps. You log in from a browser or phone and see live and recorded video from every site, with one set of users and permissions.
Opening a new branch becomes simple: install the cameras, connect the site device and the new location appears in the same app. Closing or moving a branch is just as easy, and there is no old recorder full of footage left behind.

Finding an incident in hours of video takes time. Cloud platforms add search and analytics options, such as finding people or vehicles in a time window, motion and line-crossing alerts, and people counting for retail. Managers get alerts on their phone instead of watching screens all day.
Video is encrypted on its way to the cloud and while stored. Access is controlled per user and per site, with a log of who viewed or exported footage. For organisations that need video to stay in the country, cloud options with data hosted inside the Kingdom are available. We help you choose the plan that fits your security and compliance needs.
Because there is no recorder at each site, there is also nothing for a thief to take away with the evidence. Admin accounts can be protected with multi-factor authentication, and health alerts tell you straight away if a camera goes offline or a site stops sending video.

We review your sites, existing cameras, internet links and what each location must cover.
You get a camera layout per site, the cloud plan and retention needed, and a clear itemised quote.
Our MoI-approved team installs new cameras where needed, fits the site bridge and connects everything to the cloud.
We set up sites, users, permissions, retention, alerts and any analytics you choose.
Your managers learn to view live video, search recordings, export clips and manage users.
Optional support contract for camera faults, site changes and new branches.
See every store from head office, check opening times and review incidents without site visits.
Watch kitchens, cash points and dining areas across branches from one app.
Cover pumps, shops and forecourts at remote stations with alerts to area managers.
Monitor gates, corridors and playgrounds across campuses with controlled staff access.
Cover gates, yards and storage areas, and find vehicle or people movements quickly.
Central viewing for many branches, with encrypted video and audit logs of who viewed footage.
The Saudi Law on the Use of Security Surveillance Cameras (Royal Decree, 3 October 2022) makes CCTV mandatory for many types of premises. Moving to the cloud does not remove these duties, but it can make them easier to meet across many sites.
Activity licences may not be issued or renewed until the camera requirements are met, and fines are SAR 500 to 1,000 per camera, up to SAR 20,000. Article 5 requires prior approval from the Ministry of Interior to install, operate or maintain covered cameras. Waves Telecom is an MoI-approved CCTV installer.
For a business with many branches, the hard part is keeping every site compliant at the same time. One cloud dashboard shows which cameras are online and recording at each location, which makes licence renewals and inspections much easier to prepare for.

A normal system records to a recorder (NVR) at each site. Cloud CCTV records to a secure cloud platform, with a small device at each site that buffers video. You view all sites in one app, and there are no recorders to maintain.
The site device keeps recording locally during the cut and uploads the video when the connection returns, so you do not lose footage. We check each site's internet speed during the survey and size the plan to it.
Often, yes. Many cloud platforms work with a wide range of existing IP cameras. We check your current cameras during the survey and only recommend replacing those that are not supported or no longer good enough.
Video is encrypted in transit and in storage, and each user only sees the sites they are allowed to see. Admin accounts can be protected with multi-factor authentication, and every view and export is logged.
Yes. Cloud options with data hosted inside the Kingdom are available. We will confirm the hosting location of the plan before you sign.
You choose a retention plan per camera or site. We size it to the requirements that apply to your premises under the surveillance camera law and your own security policy.
