Sophos MDR is a 24/7 managed detection and response service run by Sophos threat analysts. Waves Telecom, a Sophos Gold Partner in Al Khobar, handles onboarding, tuning and local support for Saudi companies that cannot staff a security team around the clock.
Most Saudi companies do not have people watching security alerts at 3 a.m. Sophos MDR in Saudi Arabia fills that gap. Sophos runs the service with its own threat analysts, who monitor your environment 24/7, investigate suspicious activity and act to contain threats.
Waves Telecom is your local partner. We are a Sophos Gold Partner with 10 years in cybersecurity. We do not run our own SOC. We deploy the agents, connect your firewall, email and Microsoft 365, tune alerts, and stay your first call in Al Khobar when something needs hands on site.
This split keeps roles clear. Sophos analysts watch and respond remotely, around the clock. Waves knows your network, your people and your site, so fixes, rebuilds and on-site checks happen quickly when a case needs them.

Saudi Arabia regulates managed security operations. The NCA runs a licensing regime for managed SOC providers, and its new controls for private companies (NCNICC-1:2025) list an NCA-licensed managed SOC as mandatory for large entities and recommended for smaller ones. NCNICC applies to companies the NCA notifies.
Requirements depend on your sector and size. Government bodies, critical infrastructure, finance and health often have stricter rules. Before you buy, we help you check which rules apply to you and whether Sophos MDR, a licensed local provider, or a mix fits your obligations.

We review your users, servers, sites and compliance needs, and confirm which MDR tier suits you.
We roll out Sophos agents and connect your firewall, email and Microsoft 365 to Sophos Central.
We set contacts, escalation paths and what Sophos may do on your behalf, such as isolating a device.
In the first weeks we clean up policies and exclusions so real alerts stand out.
When Sophos raises a case, Waves helps you act on it, including on-site work in the Eastern Province.
Companies with one or two IT staff who cannot watch alerts at night or on weekends.
Suppliers that need detection, response and logs as evidence during CCC readiness and renewal.
Firms with branches across Khobar, Dammam, Jubail and Riyadh that want one view of threats.
Companies whose email and files live in Microsoft 365 and want account takeover spotted early.
Businesses that have had a phishing or ransomware incident and want faster detection next time.
Sophos threat analysts deliver the 24/7 monitoring and response. Waves Telecom does not run its own SOC. We handle onboarding, tuning and local support.
Both tiers give 24/7 monitoring by Sophos analysts. MDR Complete adds remote incident response for confirmed incidents, led by a dedicated Sophos incident response lead, plus direct call-in access. Sophos response is remote, so Waves covers any on-site work you need.
It depends on your sector, size and whether the NCA has notified you under NCNICC. We help you check the rules that apply. For regulated sectors, a licensed local provider may be required.
Sophos MDR works best with Sophos Endpoint. It can also use data from Microsoft 365 and some third-party tools. We confirm compatibility during the fit check.
It depends on the number of devices and integrations. A typical small or mid-size rollout is planned over a few weeks, including tuning. We give you a schedule after the fit check.
Detection, response and log evidence support several CCC controls. We have supported 150+ companies through Aramco CCC, and all of them passed. The certificate is issued only after an audit by an Aramco Authorized Audit Firm.
We review the case with you, carry out any recommended fixes and handle on-site tasks such as rebuilding a laptop or checking a server. We also update policies so the same issue is less likely to return.
Tell us your user count, sites and compliance needs. We will reply with the right MDR tier and an onboarding plan.
