A FortiGate keeps routing traffic after its subscriptions expire. But FortiGuard services such as IPS, antivirus, web filtering and application control stop receiving updates. FortiCare support also ends, so firmware updates and support tickets become a problem when you need them most.
Saudi audits expect these controls to be current. Aramco CCC certificates last 2 years and must be renewed before expiry. The NCA's NCNICC-1:2025 controls for private companies also assume working network protection. An expired bundle is an easy audit finding to avoid.
FortiGate subscriptions are usually sold in 1, 3 or 5-year terms. Track the end date for every appliance, not just the main one.

What is the difference between UTP and Enterprise Protection?
Both include FortiCare support and core FortiGuard security services. Enterprise Protection adds more services on top of UTP. We will show you what each bundle includes for your model so you only pay for what you use.
Can we renew a FortiGate bought from another reseller?
Yes. Licences belong to the device, not the reseller. Send us the serial number and we will quote the renewal.
Our FortiGate licence already expired. What now?
Contact us as soon as you can. The device still passes traffic, but security updates have stopped. We will quote the renewal and check the device once it is active again.
Should we renew or replace an old FortiGate?
It depends on the model's end-of-life dates and your current throughput. If the hardware is near end of support, a new appliance with a bundle can be better value than renewing. We will compare both options in writing.
Do you offer on-site support in Dammam and Jubail?
