Every Cisco switch we supply is sized, configured and supported by our own engineers, from office switches to campus core. Waves Telecom is a Cisco partner in Al Khobar.
These are the current Cisco families we quote most often in Saudi Arabia. Tell us what you need to connect and we will match the model.

We check licensing line by line so you get the features you need and nothing more.
These switches work out of the box, with free software updates and a limited lifetime warranty.
Perpetual licences on Catalyst 9000 switches. Essentials covers core switching and routed access. Advantage adds full Layer 3 routing, VXLAN fabric, advanced segmentation and high availability.
Term subscriptions of 3, 5 or 7 years sold with the perpetual licence. They add Catalyst Center automation, health dashboards and, in Advantage, analytics and micro-segmentation.
The newer unified model, with Cisco Switching Essentials or Advantage. It covers C9350, C9550, C9610 and most Catalyst 9000 models, has a 36-month minimum term and includes 24×7 TAC and software updates. Hardware replacement (RMA) is an add-on.
Meraki MS switches, and Catalyst switches run in the Meraki dashboard, need an active licence to be managed from the cloud.
We track your licence and support end dates and remind you before they expire.
Power over Ethernet lets one cable carry data and power to cameras, access points, IP phones and door controllers. A wrong PoE budget is a common reason a switch must be replaced after installation.
Every switch also has a total PoE budget. For example, Cisco rates the 48-port C9350 UPOE+ models at 4,320W in total, while a 24-port PoE+ model is rated at 720W. We add up every device, leave headroom for growth and choose power supplies to match. For camera projects, see our CCTV systems page.
We supply genuine Cisco products and licences through authorised distributors in Saudi Arabia, and our engineers install and support them. Because we also do structured cabling, CCTV and firewalls, one team owns the whole network.

Switches are where you separate users, servers, cameras and guests. Segmentation limits how far an attack spreads and is reviewed in Aramco CCC under SACS-210 and in NCA controls.
Separate networks for staff, servers, CCTV, voice and guests, with access lists between.
SSH only, named admin accounts, logging and a management VLAN.
We align switch segments with your firewall policies. See network security & firewalls.

For a small office or shop, a Cisco Catalyst 1200 or 1300 switch is usually enough. They come in 8 to 48 ports with PoE options, need no licence and are managed through a web interface or the Cisco Business Dashboard. If you want to manage everything from the cloud, Meraki MS130 or MS150 is the alternative.
Cisco switch prices depend on the model, port count, PoE, uplink modules, licence tier and term, so we do not publish a price list. Send us your requirement on WhatsApp or through the form and we will send a written quotation.
Catalyst 1200 and 1300 need no licence. Catalyst 9000 switches use a perpetual Network Essentials or Network Advantage licence, normally sold with a Cisco DNA (Catalyst) Essentials or Advantage subscription of 3, 5 or 7 years. Newer models such as the C9350 use Cisco Switching Essentials or Advantage through a Cisco Networking Subscription, with a minimum term of 36 months. Meraki MS switches need a Meraki licence to work in the dashboard.
Yes, if the PoE budget is sized correctly. Each switch has a total PoE budget as well as a per-port limit. We list every camera, access point and phone with its power class, add a safety margin and choose a model and power supply that covers the full load.
Some are. Cisco lists older series such as MS120, MS125, MS210, MS225, MS250, MS350 and MS390 as end-of-sale, while MS130, MS150 and MS450 remain current. Existing switches can continue under licence and support until their end-of-support dates. We can check your models and plan a replacement.
Yes. Network segmentation is one of the areas reviewed under SACS-210. We design VLANs, access control lists and management access on your Cisco switches, and work with your firewall so that the network matches the controls you need to show during the CCC process.
Tell us how many users, cameras, access points and phones you need to connect, or send your BOQ. We will recommend the right Cisco switch and send a written quotation.
